Celestino Darasson Mindra 

Celestino Darasson Mindra is a civil engineer. Mr. Mindra is a Co-founder and Director of Bomvitae Agro Industries Limited (BAIL). Mr. Mindra previously served as Group Manager of the Milton Obote Foundation, a position he held up to the time of his retirement. Earlier Mr. Mindra was the Chief Draftsman of the Sugar Corporation of Uganda Lugazi (SCOUL). Thereafter Mr. Mindra worked as the engineer of Papco, a paper manufacturing factory in Jinja before moving to Uganda House Investments Limited group of companies where he retired as Group General Manager. Mr. Celestino D. Mindra trained in Sweden and in Alexandria, Egypt.


Emilio Ovuga 

Emilio Baliki Liociri Ovuga (Emilio Ovuga), PhD dr. med is a retired Professor of Psychiatry and Mental Health, and former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Gulu University. Emilio Ovuga is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bomvitae Agro Industries Limited (BAIL). Dr. Ovuga is also involved in providing social services in his professional field as reviewer of several scientific journals, as Review Editor of Frontiers in Social Psychiatry and Psychiatric Rehabilitation, as Associate Editor of Tropical Medicine, and as member of Special Working Group of the International Association of Suicide Research and Suicide Prevention (IASP) for the Decriminalization of Suicide behavior. Dr. Ovuga’s professional interests are in suicide prevention; alcohol and substance abuse treatment, care and rehabilitation, and in supporting communities to better their living conditions. Dr. Ovuga holds a joint PhD in suicidology and suicide prevention, and psychiatric epidemiology of Karolinska Institute in Sweden, and Makerere University in Uganda.

Paul Asiimwe

Paul is the Managing Partner at Sipi Law Associates in Kampala, Uganda with over 20 years consulting and legal practice experience. He graduated from Makerere University with an LLB and later obtained an LLM in international economic law from Warwick University, United Kingdom. He has advised extensively on Intellectual Property matters for the Government of Uganda, the World Intellectual Property Organization and for private corporations on transactional and enforcement matters. His experience also covers policy and legislative areas for improving the business environment, particularly Trade and Investment related legislation, Telecommunications and ICT legislation.


He is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the International Intellectual Property Advisors (IIPA) and a former Chair of the National Intellectual Property Advisory group (NIPA) under the Uganda National Council for Science & Technology (UNCST).


Paul is a co founder of Bomvitae Agro Industries and is a keen technology enthusiast.


Mindra Florence

Florence Mindra is Board Member of Bomvitae Agro Industries Limited (BAIL). She holds a Masters Degree in Finance & Computer management of Cyprus Institute of Marketing. She was a pioneer employee of MTN (Mobile Telecom Network) in Uganda for 11 years and retired in 2010 in position of company Tax Accountant of MTN Uganda. Mrs Mindra earlier worked for M/s Century Bottling Company Ltd, a Coca Cola bottling company as company accountant before joining MTN Uganda Limited. Before joining Century Bottling Company, Florence worked for Lifeline Uganda Limited, a Clearing and Forwarding Company as senior Accounts Assistant. Mrs Mindra retired from paid employment eight years ago and she is now engaged in family business of commercial cultivation and goats keeping in her home District in Adjumani. She has passion in farming. Mrs Florence Mindra brings to BAIL a wealth of knowledge and experiences in finance and taxation.
